We took the opportunity to take some couple’s photos alongside the river (which was a little tough without a tripod!)

One thing I didn’t expect to capture were all the big birds!

I had a fun time taking some pics of the locals, too

On our last night, we made the long uphill trek to Sannenzaka. The temple was absolutely swarming with visitors posing for the camera or vlogging, making me feel a tad uninspired to do the same. What really caught my attention was the gigantic cemetery on the mountainside walk up to the temple!

We also were able to visit Kyo Karucha Cafe, the Kyoto Aquarium, and the Kyoto Team Labexhibition.

This was a wonderful trip, and most likely the last time I’ll be in Japan for a long while.
